PocketNow Reports : This is apparently the HTC Ruby, an Android-powered handset destined for T-Mobile. We had originally thought that Ruby was the code-name for Sprint's HTC Arrive (nee HTC 7 Pro) Windows Phone 7, but recent photographic evidence popped up suggesting that that this code-name was attached to a completely different device.
Ruby reminds us of a mash-up between a Sensation and a myTouch, and maybe that's just what we can expect when it comes to market. Obviously it won't ship as an actual member of the myTouch family due to the lack of a Genius button and the requisite branding, but perhaps the specs will slot it into mid-to-high-end myTouch territory. We'd say that there's a very good chance this is one of the six to eight additional handsets CEO Peter Chou told us to expect from HTC this quarter.
